To conclude a successful A1 Jet or Diesel transaction, the Re-Seller must have a Tank Storage Agreement in place at the designated port where the product is being sold. This agreement ensures that the necessary facilities are ready to securely store the fuel during the transaction process.
Once the transaction begins with the Refinery, the Re-Seller requires an active Tank Storage Receipt. This means the Tank Farms must be compensated in order to activate and receive the SGS (Surveyor General’s Certificate) from the Refinery. The appropriate endorsements and all required documentation must then be completed to finalize the transaction.
Substantial funding is required to bridge the gap between the Refinery and the actual buyer of the product. A funding partner is often needed to support this process, ensuring that the financial aspects of the deal are efficiently managed and the transaction can proceed to a successful conclusion.
